Neighborhood Products and Services
                                                                                                                                                       Members can access the products and services offered by their immediate neighbors.  When we are using the services and buying products from our close neighbors, we all win!  Income goes from one neighbor to another, right back into your own neighborhood.  This is Networking at it's greatest.  You not only have a chance to network with others such as yourself looking to increase their own business contacts, but you get the benefit of working with someone in your own neighborhood!       The more you work together as neighbors, the more prosperous your own neighborhood will become. 

Neighborhood Marketplace

Do you have a tree or garden that is producing excess fruit or produce?  There may be someone in your neighborhood who could use those extra lemons or oranges that will go to waste if not used.  Perhaps you could trade your neighbor a bag of lemons for a bag of avocados.  Or perhaps someone in your own neighborhood who has several mouths to feed, could use your excess.  When money and food stay in your own neighborhood , your neighbors and your neighborhood will prosper.   Make sure to enter your producing trees on our site in order to help feed your neighbors! 

Neigbhorhood Babysiting

Wow, here's a "no-brainer"!  Do you have teenage kids who can babysit locally in your neighborhood?  Wouldn't it be great if there were several options for a good trustworthy babysitter who could actually walk right up the street to babysit right in your own home?  With Neighborhood Babysitting, you can post information about your babysitting needs or the baby sitters in your home. 

Neighborhood Yard Sales

Planning a yard or garage sale?  Why not get all your neighbors involved.  Many of you together could, split the cost of advertising, increase your number of visitors with the advertisement of "several" yard sales within the same vicinity, and could ease the pain of putting up signs by delegating the job to two or more families instead of just one.  And another thing, it might just be fun!  This is how neighborhoods prosper!   

Neighborhood Ads

My children outgrow their clothes sometimes before they even try them on!  What a great reason to post an ad in the Neighborhood Ads section of Neighborhood Networking!  Maybe someone in your own neighborhood could use your new or almost new clothing for their children.  Or anything that you may not want anymore that someone else may be able to use.  When someone in your own neighborhood can benefit by something you wanted to get rid of anyway, you both prosper!

Neighborhood Clean Up

Do you have extra space in your trash, yard waste, or recycle can this week?  Why not let your next door neighbors know?  Maybe they have an extra pile of leaves that they cannot fit in their own yard waste can this week.  Let them know that they could use the rest of your can to dump their waste into!  Your neighbors are able to get rid of their excess trash thereby cleaning up your own neighborhood in the process!  Wow!  No one spends extra money and you beautify your own neighborhood in the process!  What can be more prosperous than that!   

Neighborhood Barter

Neighborhood Barter is all about getting rid of things of value that you may not have a need for (sometimes called "inventory" in the corporate world), and exchanging it for something of value that you do need, without having to pay cash for it (sometimes called "overhead or expenses").  For instance, you may have purchased an excess amount of copy paper that you could exchange with another neighbor for their excess toner.  When you and another person in your own neighborhood can get something of mutual value that you need, and keep the cash that would normally be given to someone outside your own neighborhood in order to purchase that much needed item, then your neighbors and your neighborhood prospers.  

Special Needs Projects in Your Neighborhood

Many of your neighbors may have a special need that you may be able to help them with.  For instance, there may be an elderly lady who lives alone who cannot change a light bulb in her home.  Are we as neighbors going to ignore the special needs of those around us?  We hope not.  We hope that you as a good neighbor would have the type of integrity that we would want our own neighbors to have, and assist those who need help.  When we show others that we are willing to serve in humility, then others take notice and guess what happens next?  You got it!  Your neighborhood prospers.  And remember, you may need help changing a light bulb someday too!  

Neighborhood Issues and Concerns

Whether you have a concern about something as minor as a noisy dog or as serious as theft or vandalism, here is a chance to share it with your neighbors.  Many of your own neighbors may share the same concerns.  When we can reach out and communicate, it breaks down walls and creates a neighborhood where we can all prosper.
